Ahnse has recently represented a German company in relation to a contractual dispute – non payment of monies. We were instructed after the Korean debtor company had entered rehabilitation. We have successfully guided our client through the rehabilitation process. In 2018-2019, we represented a German company in a contractual dispute, in particular the non payment of monies due to it. We issued proceedings to place a lien over assets; and we subsequently negotiated a mortgage over assets to secure monies due. We dealt successfully with complex foreign exchange matters and ultimately made a full recovery for the client. We have and continue to represent a major Italian fashion brand on a whole range of corporate, tax and commercial issues. We also recently successfully represented the company in relation to two counterfeiting claims. We have represented a European fashion retailer which has no corporate presence in relation in relation to complex establishment and taxation issues arising from its franchising operations in Korea.
